I wish there were more stars to rate this wonderful agency because I would rate it with 100 stars! This is a non-profit agency that is seriously understaffed and not appreciated for their efforts. All the workers have the biggest hearts in the world. The Director, Marlena should be sent to the Vatican because everyone that knows her would rate her as a Saint! She works non-stop even when she's very sick. As far as the ungrateful complainers on this site, they should leave their posh dwellings and try working at any animal shelter! I've been in friends opulent perfect homes that only have one small dog and I smell dog, especially when they come in from the rain. This agency is NOT dirty. I feel personally offended reading these unwarranted complaints and I'm out-raged the Meriden City Manager, Guy Scife is closing it down. By the way, I have no official ties to this forgotten agency.
