Meriden Hyundai — Establishment and car dealer at 318 South Broad Street, Meriden, Connecticut.

I never really have a problem with the salespeople here, it is always the finance people after you're done with the salespeople. I did make a purchase for a used 2012 Civic in 2016. The sales guy, who I forget his name, was very nice in the beginning. After the initial day and I went back for day two with my boyfriend at the time to pick up the car and finalize the paperwork, he started getting a little bit of an attitude with my ex boyfriend. My ex was trying to help me because I had never bought a car before so he was asking valid questions that I wouldn't have asked. The sales person got very cold and started giving an attitude but that wasn't the worst part. Ended up going to meet with Jesus (who supposedly no longer works with them anymore) and Jesus was very loud, very argumentative, very cocky and pompous. Jesus was very sarcastic with us and just wanted to get the papers signed with no explanation of anything in the contract.

Long story short, I went back to Meriden Hyundai in the beginning of October 2017 because my car was totaled and I needed to cancel my warranty. Called before I went and the finance manager that I talked to said that yes he could cancel the warranty, just come in any time, and the effective date would be the day my car was totaled. So I go down there the next day because it's a 20 minute drive out of the way and super inconvenient for me to make the trip, but I went out there and spoke to a sales person who was very nice, I did like him, but then I spoke to the new finance guy who said that he would not be able to cancel the warranty effective the date of my accident. So we argued because I said that someone TOLD me that they could and they said that I would need to come down a whole different day and wait for the other finance guy to be there.

So I am not happy that no one here is on the same page as everyone else. I ended up calling the company that my warranty was out of and they said yes they would cancel it effective the day of my accident. So at the dealership, they could have done it to. But it is consistently a problem at Meriden Hyundai, everyone there is ratchet.
